muh birfin day

I had a wonderful wonderful birthday! I got to go and have my nails done, and they look fantastic! Then I got to spend the entire evening with my dearest friends. Kevin got to meet my mom, and those who are closest to me, I got to meet Jeff, Bonnie's fiance' (whose wedding I am honored to be in!) We ate a delicious dinner at the Outback, where Larry got quite toasted, quite quickly! He is so funny when he is drunk!!! Then off we went to play a couple rounds of pool! Donna had to depart early, as her son's birthday was the next day, and I imagine toating 9 boys around can be exhausting! Shortly after our arrival to the pool hall, we started doing shots.... I am not sure if I ever finished a game of pool or not! We had loads of fun!

The next day, we were supposed to go kayaking, (Larry and I) but we were once again rained out, and this time we were both a bit hung over so that really didn't matter. Later that afternoon, I was doing some laundry, and reached down into the hamper to sort my lights and darks, and got stuck. NOT good! I have a herniated disk at number 5 in my back, along with artheritis... and I think it may have ruptured. Either that or it is just really out of wack! I have not been able to move much since, and the work comp adjusters (this all stems from an acciedent back in 2001) are dragging their feet. I am hoping to get into the doctor tomorrow! My right leg has gone all numb and tingly three times today. I am not sure what to make of it. I know that sitting is excrusiating, standing hurts, and so does just laying here. It seems no matter where I move, it just hurts. Thanks to my savior and roommate, I do have a little comfort in a rather large heating pad he bought for me yesterday, several hours after the little incident. At that point in time I was still hoping that it was just a catch in my back, but now I am not so optimistic.

Grades were posted today, I earned an A in my psychology of behavioral analysis class! GO ME! I luckily have pain pills left over from my last surgery, and have taken a couple of them, so I am feeling a bit fuzzy headed!

Well I think I shall close now. Even though my laptop is wireless and I can type while lying down, it still pains me to type.

Well, I hope you are planning on going to the doctor...But I am glad to hear you had a wonderful B-day and congrats on the A! :)
